First of all, the way that "makes a girl suddenly not see a guy in 'that way'" is the fact that she doesn't feel an ATTRACTION to him. The fact that you've been on a date with her makes no difference at all. If you haven't used your personality to make her feel ATTRACTED to you, then you're just going to be a "friend" forever.
